This Week's Puzzler

Very Quick One

Time for the new puzzler.

This one is multiple choice. Here we go.

This one is very quick. Here it is.

If you have a large mental protuberance, which one of the following things do you have?

A. An inordinately humongous head.

B. An ugly growth on your head.

3.  A large chin.

D. An annoying friend.

So it is either A, B, 3, or D.

Good luck.

Flavors

Puzzler time.

Here we go.

One day, many years ago, this old man drives into the shop with a 1976 Volare.

He says something like, "Boys, my car's having trouble. It doesn't like a certain kind of ice cream that I buy."

And he goes on to explain that when he goes to the ice cream place, he only has three flavors of ice cream that he eats. Chocolate, vanilla and tofu mint chip.

He says, "When I go to buy chocolate, I park in front of the ice cream parlor. I buy the chocolate, I come out, my car starts right up. The same thing happens if I buy vanilla. The car starts right up. But when I buy the tofu mint ice cream, the car won't start. It cranks and cranks and cranks and cranks. It doesn't want to start. Finally, it starts. It runs on one cylinder. Maybe it runs on two cylinders. It shakes and rattles, and it takes me 10 minutes to get going."

Just then, my guy Crusty, who was asleep in the garage wakes up and says, "You're right. Same thing happens to my car. And you're right, it is the ice cream."

What is going on here?

Common Men

This one is short, but clever.

Here it is.

What do the following men have in common?

Ulysses S Grant

Rudyard Kipling

Woodrow Wilson

Grover Cleveland

Calvin Coolidge

So, I know they are all men, and that they are all currently dead. So clearly, that is not the answer we are looking for. They are all also famous, and that is also not the answer.

What do all these guys have in common?
