Puzzler time.

This is another of our ever popular match stick puzzlers.

Here we go.

Get a bunch of match sticks, wooden matches preferably. Or toothpicks work too.

Take the sticks of your choice and make the following equation with Roman numerals.

X I + I = X

So, that means 11 plus 1 = 10. Which is wrong, as we all know.

So the puzzler is what is the fewest number of matches you can move to get an equation that's correct?

This one is clever. You have to look closely at the following paragraph. You should actually not read it, you should have someone else read it to you, to get the full experience. But you can read it, if you have to.
