This Week's Puzzler

The Correct Hat

Time for the new puzzler.

This one is mathematic.

Here we go.

There is a baseball team which consists of 20 kids.

At the end of their season, they all go to the coach's house to have a barbeque.

When they get there, the coach tells the kids that they can't wear their hats at the barbeque.

So all the kids take their hats and throw them in a big pile.

So, there are 20 kids, so there are 20 hats in the pile.

So, they have a great time. They eat as much barbeque and hot dogs as they can. It is a great afternoon.

At the end of the evening, they all reach in at random and grab a hat.

And the puzzler is this.

What is the probability that 19 out of 20 of these kids gets the correct hat?

Good luck.

Remember last week's puzzler?

What Am I Puzzle

Puzzler time.

This one is about how cars have changed over the years. The parts have changed a lot, since the first car was introduced.

For example, the wheels of cars used to be made out of wood, and then they evolved into steel, and then now most wheels are made out of some kind of magnesium aluminum alloy,

So this puzzler is called a "What Am I?" puzzler. And you have to guess.

I'm going to tell you what I used to be made out of, and what I am made out of now, and you are gonna tell me what I am.

Here it is.

In the early days of cars, I didn't even exist.

When they saw a need for me, I was first made out of wood.

Later on, when they discovered that wood didn't work too well, I was made out of leather.

Sometime later, I was made out of cotton.

Today, I am made out of a mixture of things, some of which are steel wool, iron and bronze.

What am I?
